As we are quickly approaching winter, I hope you are enjoying the last of the fall colors and are getting excited for the start of ski season. Believe it or not, Mt. Rose Ski Resort opens October 25th! With the colder temperatures at night, resorts have been making snow and can fire up the lifts soon. Below is a list of opening dates for Tahoe area ski resorts:
- Boreal – November 8th
- Diamond Peak – December 12th
- Heavenly – November 22nd
- Homewood – December 13th
- Kirkwood – November 27th
- Mt. Rose – October 25th
- Northstar – November 22nn
- Squaw Valley & Alpine Meadows – November 15th
- Sugar Bowl – November 29th
- Tahoe Donner – December 13th
