Old Greenwood Golf Course Welcomes the Barracuda Championship

We are honored to announce that the Old Greenwood Golf Course has been selected as the new host of the Barracuda Championship, an official PGA TOUR event. The official press release can be found here.
The event at Old Greenwood will welcome 120 PGA TOUR professionals all competing for a share of the tournament’s $3.5 million purse. The Barracuda Championship is one of just 46 full field stops during the PGA TOUR Season and is part of the FedExCup, a season-long points competition for PGA TOUR professionals.
We have built a great partnership with the Reno-Tahoe Open Foundation, the non-profit organization that oversees the annual Barracuda Championship PGA TOUR event. Since their inception in 1999, they have had the opportunity to support numerous local and national charities thanks to the ongoing support of the community. As of October 2018, the organization has donated $4,171,976 to charity.
We are excited about the opportunities and benefits that our partnership with the Barracuda Championship will bring to Tahoe Mountain Club and the Old Greenwood Community.
