Heather Whitney

Heather Whitney's love of the great outdoors began during her youth growing up in the picturesque Maine mountains. She later relocated to Tahoe and has now lived in and served the region for more than 20 years.

When she first arrived in Tahoe, Heather started in the hospitality industry. During her time working in hospitality, she learned valuable customer service and time management skills that have proved incredible assets to her current real estate career. Her first foray into real estate was as a marketing manager, regularly coordinating launch parties and member sales events. From there, she branched off as a sales assistant, escrow coordinator, and finally, as an independent sales consultant.

Today, she is proud to be part of one of Sierra Sotheby's top-producing teams. Her multifaceted background in hospitality and the different real estate branches have helped her evolve into a well-rounded individual and an excellent agent known for her detail-oriented work ethic.

As a family-oriented person, Heather has a special connection to other families searching for their second home. She loves to connect and relate to her many clients and truly understands their wants and needs for the Tahoe area.

Heather's clients see her as a genuine, reliable, caring, and dedicated individual who thoroughly and efficiently sees through all of her projects to ensure her clients have their needs met. Having received a psychology degree, Heather enjoys leveraging her communication and people skills to work, console, and guide people through the buying and selling process.

Outside of her work on the Overall & Hamilton team, Heather and her husband, Shawn, operate the successful Morgan's Lobster Shack and Fish Market in Truckee. The pair also love taking advantage of the myriad of outdoor recreational activities Tahoe has to offer, including mountain biking, paddleboarding, and skiing.

Heather and Shawn hope to inspire the same sense of adventure in their young son, Zander. Heather also loves to work with children and regularly volunteers in Zander's class when she can.
